Child Safety Seat Inspections

Safe Kids Cherokee County, led by Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services, offers free Child Safety Seat Inspections at the Cherokee County Administrative Offices on Tuesday mornings between 9 AM and 12 PM as well as on Thursday afternoons between 2:00 PM and 4:30 PM. There is a "suggested donation" if you require a child safety seat to be provided by Safe Kids Cherokee County.

Your child or children must be present for your car seat appointment if you are receiving a seat through this program unless, you are an expecting mother.

Note that if you are planning on having multiple car seats inspected, a 45-minute appointment should be scheduled for each car seat. If you require a car seat to be provided by our office, please specify the age, height, and weight of your child in the "Special Request" section of the booking form.
