Fireworks Display and Proximate Audience permits must now be obtained from Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services (Fire Marshal's Office) and no longer through the Probate Court.
All Permit requests related to a fireworks display or effects before a proximate audience can now be requested online through the CityView permitting portal.

For a Fireworks Display or Proximate Audience permit- Select apply for Fire Prevention permit and follow the prompts to complete the process. A completed application found at https://www.cherokeecountyga.gov/dsc/Fireworks-Display-Permit/must be submitted with the permit request.
For a Fireworks Stand permit- You must apply for a Special Event Permit by visiting https://www.cherokeecountyga.gov/DSC/special-events-permit/
