Cherokee County Fire and Emergency Services responded to a structure fire call yesterday afternoon, just shortly after 3 o’clock at 325 Aspen Lane, off Lake Allatoona.
Cherokee County 911 received a call from a neighbor who stated that a shed, tree and power pole were on fire. The caller also stated that the fire was in close proximity to a house. Battalion 1 arrived on scene to report that they had a wind driven fire and there were structures in danger. Within minutes firefighters were on scene to extinguish the fire and kept it from spreading to a home nearby. The shed and the contents inside were completely destroyed.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
