Mar 15, 2024 | Safety Town is coming back to Bascomb Elementary School this Summer!  All Cherokee County students entering kindergarten in the fall can attend the program June 10-14 or June 17-21.  The camp runs from 9am-12pm each day. Outdoor burning is allowed from October 1st 2023 through April 30th 2024.

Burning is allowed between the dates of October 1st through April 30th.

Outdoor Burning Information

Burning is allowed on a daily basis. Please check with the Georgia Forestry Commission before you burn each day to ensure conditions are suitable for burning.

Volunteer Forms — Safe Kids Cherokee County

Safe Kids Cherokee County offers free Child Safety Seat Inspections and car seats for families in need.  Restrictions apply. 

It is required that you bring your child unless you are expecting. Technicians can help you make the necessary adjustments to fit your child properly.

Please park in front of the building near the bicycle rack. Call 678-493-4343 to let us know you have arrived.

Appointments are available Tuesday mornings between 9 AM and 12 PM as well as Thursday afternoons between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Please click on the "book now" tab below to make an appointment online.
